This is pretty cool - so I though I would post it.

FreeRice has two goals:
- Provide English vocabulary to everyone for free.
- Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.
This is made possible by the sponsors who advertise on this site.
Whether you are CEO of a large corporation or a street child in a poor country, improving your vocabulary can improve your life. It is a great investment in yourself.
Enjoy!

Yeah - it has been to long since I blogged. Get over it. :p We have been in our new house for about 6 weeks now and we love it, I will have updated pics up on the link soon. The old house is now on the market to be sold. I went back to my Tuesday night knitting group this week and I am checking out the Thursday night knitting at Knitch tonight. Just letting everyone know I am still alive and things are good. Mike and I will be in Louisville for Christmas (coming up on 22nd and heading back on the 26th). Let me know if I need to fit you into my schedule.

So Dragon *Con starts Thursday night. I have one outfit selected so far for the Con, I am dubbing it “boobalicious goth chick”. I am looking forward to much a photo taking and lotsa drinking and late nights. I don’t party very often at all - but D*Con is my weekend to party - well and my b-day. Until Dragon*Con we are hosting some of our friends at the house. Mik’s buddy, his wife and their 1 and a half year old daughter. They got in around 930 last night and are chillin’ at our place until Friday or so. It is kinda cool - I have not really gotten a chance to get to know dude or his wife (even though I was at their wedding, and the bachelorette party), nor they get to know me. Mike met then during our separation. So this should be interesting - and having a baby in the house - that Kayla keeps wanting to hump… yeah … it’s a dominance thing.
In other news I am still trying to find a new photogallery to use. I want something that is simple but looks good and I can upload all pics in an album at once (vs 10 at a time). I have pics from Louisville, the KY state fair, and after this weekend - Dragon*Con that will need to be shared with the world. I am still knitting (sorta) there are things I want to make but just no concentration for it right now. I am still dealing with the loss of my grandma - but I am feeling a lot better, just letting time do it’s thing.
In preparation of the weekend to come - here is a pic of Mike dice bagging (yes.. I said dice bagging) a friend of ours at Gen Con a week or so back. Read the rest of this entry »

I have been in Louisville since Monday night. Tuesday was my Grandmothers visitation (long day) and Wednesday was the funeral (long and rough day). I am doing okay right now. I had to drive mike to Indy after the funeral on Wednesday (not right after but some hours later). The funeral was at 11am and once we got back to my dads we took a nap until like 5. We headed up to Indy around 730pm. I got back to Louisville around 11pm and headed straight to dads and watched him play golf on SP2 until about 130am. Yesterday I had arranged from my old Hot Topic boss to ink me. Lissa has been tattooing for a bit now up at Body Art and is rockin’ it. Holly come out to watch and Ali was there as well. I wanted a Lissa Guerrero Original fleur di le as my tribute to Louisville tat. I got exactly that and it rocks! Here is the morning after pic - it is above my celtic knotwork on my left calf.

After the tat I went to chill with my buddy (retarded little brother) Chris. We watched some youtube then headed out to get a drink. Due to the amount of college kids out at bars right now we ended up at Spring Street, which was fine - pretty calm and chill. Arida and Josh stopped by and had a beer then we all called it a night. I got back to my Dad’s and hit the sack around 230am. I think Holly, Chris and I will be hitting up BBC tonight to check it out and chill a bit with Arida while she is on the clock. I drive back to GA tomorrow afternoon, after going to the KY State Fair with my boo, I am not looking forward to that drive alone but it will be good for me. Mike will be back home Tuesday night. He hates that he cannot be with me right now. But I understand and I am glad he was able to be with me Mon-Wed.
